Join TV presenter John Grundy along the historic Bede’s Way Trail and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the North East of England whilst raising money for people living in poverty around the world. The full day walk is 12 miles with a shorter 4 mile option offering a great day out for all the family. The full walk starts at 10am on 12 June at St Peter’s Church in Monkwearmouth, Sunderland and finishes with refreshments and entertainment from a steel band at St Paul’s Church, Jarrow in time to go home before England’s debut World Cup match!
