Hey Simon,
Afraid I'm not interested in the Montane smock but I am interested to know how you lost 2.5 stones. That's impressive!

Hi Cameron.

To be honest there is no real rocket science to how I lost my weight. My wife was following a healthy eating plan, some may call it a diet but its not like slimming world etc where you drink lots of shakes to lose weight. This was Rosemary Conley plan which basically aims to change the way you look at normal food.

With this you have to consider the fat content of food and also the calories and keep within a range. You eat the normal food you like however you really end up changing the quantity that you eat and strangely enough you end up having a couple of snacks during the day which keeps you going.

With the new outlook on the items you eat, you generally cut down on things like crisps, biscuits, cakes but now I'm down in weight I'll have a little nibble now and then.

I was never greatly overweight coming in at 15.5 stone however I'm 185 metres tall and I had raised my waist size upto a 36 inch. Now I'm coming in at around 13 stone and I've dropped my waist size to a 32 inch. This has happened since July 2009.

I have to say that I feel a lot better for it, not being so tired but the wallet took a tumble because I needed new clothes, one of these being a new waterproof jacket where I went to Furtech for a winter jacket this time and bought the Claw and cannot fault it one bit.

Hopefully this explains how I did it.

Regards

Simon
