Hi I am 66 years young, and next month I shall be snowshoeing in the Valadalen Nature reserve wild camping or staying in huts hauling my gear in a pulka (sled).
I have a few more trips planned: - 6 days Canoeing on the Klaralven river Sweden (Flat water no portorages)
The Lycian in Way Turkey. The Almeria desert in Spain, The Arctic Circle Trail Iceland.
The reason I am saying this is my wife insists I stop travelling alone so I am looking for similar aged adventurers to trek with.
I am a plodder and not into speed, I like to take photos as I travel. I am an accredited BMC Sumer mountain Leader and have trekked solo world wide.

just wanted to ask how your snowshoe trip went. Especially how you managed to get your pulk over there or did you hire one? Do you know of any other lighter options available to haul gear over snow with?
