Hi
I'm just wondering if anybody has done either the Tour of the Matterhorn or the Tour of the Monte Rosa. I am thinking of heading over to do one of these in the next week or so. Normally I go to the Alps climbing with a few others, but this trip will be solo. I can't get any of my regular climbing partner's this season due to too much work or not enough work!! And I'd like to do some trekking for a change. I have done the Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt, but not solo.
Is it possible to do either or both of these routes solo, as there seems to be some glacier travel?
Is it possible to camp en route?
How easy is it to get water and food on the route?
Any other info would be great.
