Is there a single step method of stopping emails everytime someone posts on a thread you have posted on? I can see the subscribe/unsubscribe thingy on every thread, but surely there must be an easier way of stopping them? The subscribe/unsubscribe thingy doesn't always work anyway, and i don't want my email inbox cluttered.

Hi - as no-one has come up with a technical answer I'll give my non-technical solution. I recently changed e-mail address and when I updated the details on the new forum I began getting loads of 'replies' through the e-mail as you have. I changed my e-mail details back to the old address - now I don't get any - or at least none that I can access.

I don't know how TGO towers feel about incorrect e-mail addresses in their files but if they don't like the idea they need to respond to your question with a suitable solution.

I've changed my email address to a made up one.

Hey Guys,

At the top of every thread there is a 'subscribe' / 'unsubscribe' link.

Just click that to stop receiving emails from that thread.

Using a false email address seems to have worked Dave.

I just hope some poor bugger doesn't have the same email address as the one i made up! They'll be wondering where all these TGO emails are coming from! :)

I must add though - i like being notified of new posts on a thread, it enables me to keep better track. i have another email address i use for registering on websites, and one that i use for more important things which i find helps keep the clutter away from anything i may need to see urgently
