I've received a few enquiries about where I bought the SportEYZ Sunglasses and Coolibar Fingerless Gloves featured in this month's Lighten Up column, so I thought I'd reply to all those enquiries here on the forum instead of individually replying to every email.

As far as I'm aware, neither item is available from a UK outlet. Winwood Outdoors used to stock the SportEYZ (in fact that's where I got my first pair from), but they can't get hold of them any more. There even used to be a UK online store for SportEYZ, but that has since folded. A link to the UK store still exists on the US SportEYZ site, but if you click on it you'll just get a window saying that the webpage can't be displayed. I don't know of any UK outlet that has ever stocked Coolibar gloves.

I bought my current pair of SportEYZ from Gossamer Gear, but they've stopped selling them now as well. However, they're available directly from www.sporteyz.com for $9.95 (about £6) + whatever the postage is. They accept international money orders and cashier's cheques as well as credit cards.

I bought my Coolibar gloves directly from www.coolibar.com. They cost $19.95 (about £12), but I can't remember what the postage was. It can't have been much or else I'd have remembered. Coolibar accept payment by credit card only.

If you shop around on the internet you can find both items for a little bit cheaper on a few US sites, but not much cheaper.

I think that answers all the questions I received. If not, let me know.
