osprey exos 46

Hi everyone,I'm considering purchasing the Osprey exos 46 and wondering if anyone has tried it. The main use will be one or two nights wild camping, so will need to carry tent, sleeping bag, stove, neoair, food, water and everything else for one person.I know they also do a 58ltr model but seems to be very difficult to find. Any advice gratefully received.Cheers Eugene.

Hi, I think peewiglet from various forums (fora?) bought and used one on this year's TGO. I agree the 56L seems to be impossible to purchase in the UK.

RE: osprey exos 46

I reviewed the Exos 58 in the June TGO in a trip report called Welcoming Spring. I found the pack okay with 15kg of gear and stable on rough terrain. Overall it's a good pack but the fabric isn't that tough and there's lots of straps and pockets to catch on things so I wouldn't use it for scrambling or bushwhacking.

I have been looking at the new style osprey atmos and it looks good - I currently use a osprey stratos 32 for winter its a good slim "british style alpine sac" the atmos is for longer backpacking not for day hillwalks.
I know you are not meant to worry about colours but I dont like the orange on the exos
