Favourite places - favourite views

Just another bit of trivia but what's your favourite place in the hills and mountains, coasts or dales ? What's your favourite view - or indeed favourite places and views plural.

Here's one contender for mine.

Loch Shiel

The view from Goatfell (in all directions) keeps me going back to Arran over and over again.

Where's the view taken from JH - it's certainly a beauty - as is that landscape from Goat fell Dave

RE: Favourite places - favourite views

I had a good view of Goatfell today -- from Dollar Law and Cramalt Craig, above the Megget reservoir in the Southern Uplands -- a bit hazy, but brought back good memories of Arran. In fact we could see virtually all the tops in the Southern Uplands, plus the northern Lake District. So Dollar Law and Cramalt Craig it is at the moment...but this will change as soon as I have another good day on the hills.
