The backpacking light.com forum community have got together a group order of 117 metres of 54" wide "breen" that a sort of olive green cuben fibre (code CT2K.08) which weighs 25.3 grams per square metre. 0.74 ounces per square yard. This is much thicker than some very light cuben but everyone in the lightweight community has decided that it is right for their tarps, rucksacks, dry bags etc. What I am saying is, from what I have read, it is tough. The cost to cubictechnology.com is $23.46 per running metre, so may vary day to day. They only sell in 9 metre panels. 2 nine metre panels are already ordered from Britain.
I want a couple of metres does anyone want to join me to make up another 9m panel. There will be costs of shipping but if we are quick they can be added to the 2 x 9m already on order in Britain.
Production started last monday but there is still time to join in.
A quick decision is needed. I can order by paypal if there are other firm orders.
