I understand applications will be run in next months TGO. As a potential first timer can someone let me knwo when the route needs to be submitted?

As JH says the route must be submitted for checking by the end of February. Your application must be in by (approx) end of October and you will then be contacted to let you know if you have been accepted in the draw.
