Hope it serves you well Mike, it's converted me.

I'd love to flog my Rab Quantumn 400 so that I could justify the expense of a Nunatak quilt. Alas, it has a home made repair on it (neck baffle stiching- i did a better job than the factory) so I'll not get a good price for it.
Never mind.

I wasn't taking the Quintessential Qualities of Quilts article too seriously because I am delighted with my PHD Piqolo, the best sleeping bag I have ever owned, but then I noticed the weights. 340g for a Pro 90, which BackpackingLight recommend for damp climates. Perhaps I will have to become a quilt user.

Two questions. 1) Does the performance of the Pro 90 match that of the Piqolo? 2) I have a Bozeman Torsolite. Would there be a gap between the quilt's footbox and the sleeping pad?
