Can anyone tell us which bothies/lodge around Waters of Nevis to the south end of loch Treig are inhabitable?

Staoineag (probably spelt it wrong?) is an excellent bothy and is close to the area you want. There used to be a room in the old lodge near Loch Trieg left open but I'm not sure if that's still the case.

Last time I was passed Creaguaineach Lodge at the south end of Loch Treig, mentioned by Cameron it had been badly vandalised obviously by walkers as it is too remote to be the usual type of vandal. There was someone sleeping inside but it looked like the door had been forced. Not sure if I would want to stay there.

If you are coming from Glen Nevis take a look at Meannanach, it was in good repair last time I passed that way. There is also Chiarain towards Blackwater. Beware of Creaguaineach Lodge as there are usually loads of sheep ticks in the area.

Yes, there are good MBA maintained bothies at Meanach (misspelt on latest OS map!!!!) and Staoineag. Also Loch Chiarain to the south.

loch ossian SYHA on SW of loch, also been to bothies as above no probs.

i stayed at meanach bothy on this years challenge and got woken up by dave skipp and his mate mike the bothy was in good condition
